Why Do You Need Chiropractic?
Doctors of Chiropractic medicine (D.C.s) adjust the spine with easy, manual thrusts to move the spinal vertebra back to their normal positions. The most common conditions treated by the chiropractor are low back pain, sciatic pain, neck pain, upper back pain, headaches, numbness & tingling in the arms/hand or legs/feet, & shoulder pain. A chiropractor will sometimes also adjust the joints of the neck, arms, and legs. Spinal adjustments may relieve a spectrum of aliments such as headaches, certain types of migraines, menstrual cramps, allergies, asthma, stomach disorders, spastic colon, and arm, hand, and leg pain or numbness that's due to dysfunction of the neck or lower back. What is Decompression Therapy?
Decompression therapy is an FDA-registered method of relieving pain and disability by repairing damaged spinal discs and reversing nerve degradation. Following examination by the doctor, a computer-controlled device gently distracts (pulls very slightly apart) your spinal discs. This decompression of the discs lets oxygen and blood flow into affected areas to speed up healing and relieve pain.
